Shrink the guest list
Two or three friends who answer the thread are a crew. A broadcast to twelve people is a wish. Ask only the people who will be in the photos and in the vote. Say the night out loud: you want to meet another friend group in public, and you want them in the decision.
If someone wants to come only if it is a private pairing, they want a different plan. Let them. A group date is still undecided when you arrive. Nobody has been assigned a match inside the room.
Make the plan before you look
Pick a neighborhood, a length of about ninety minutes, and one mood the whole table can see: dinner, a walk, drinks, dancing, karaoke, or late food. Put that on the profile. “We should all hang” gives the other crew nothing to accept.
Then look. On Grouping, Tonight shows other houses that are already seated. Your own table stays yours while you browse. You are not dissolving the group to go hunting one by one.
Meet as the same people you advertised
Chat opens after both crews vote yes. Use it to confirm time, place, and who is actually coming. Do not add two extra friends in the taxi. The other house voted on the people in the profile.

Questions people ask
- Can I bring friends who are already a couple?
- You can, if they are there as part of the crew and not as hosts assigning you a date. Say that in the profile so the other house knows what they are walking into.
- What if my friends flake?
- Cancel or shrink the plan before you match. Showing up as half the advertised crew wastes the other house’s vote.
